This two-day course is designed to provide and enhance a basic working knowledge of sleep medicine. It is designed for neurology residents and fellows from across Canada as well as general practitioners, community neurologists,  and specialists who are interested in further enhancing their understanding of the current principles and practices in dealing with patients with sleep disorders.

Where: Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre, The Neuro, 3801 University Street

$100 for residents and students, $250 for neurologists, specialists, GPs, psychiatrists, & other professionals

The Quebec Sleep Research Network is happy to invite Consortium members to its Mini-Retreat on Wearable Technologies For Sleep Monitoring, which will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the amphitheater of the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal. This event is free of charge, but registration is required.

This dynamic event will bring you together to discuss the latest innovations in ambulatory sleep monitoring, with presentations by experts and students, interactive activities, networking opportunities, and much more! The second edition of the mini-retreat will bring together students, clinicians, researchers, funding agencies and industry representatives. Please note that the event will be held in English.

The Mini-Retreat aims to :

•  Explore advances in wearable technologies for sleep and health with international and emerging experts.

•  Showcase the next generation of scientists through interactive student presentations.

•  Promote exchanges between academic, clinical, and industrial circles through immersive networking activities.

Summer School - Sleep, Physical Health and Chronic diseases

The Quebec Sleep Research Network invites you to the third edition of its Summer School!

This event will be held at the MIL Campus of the University of Montreal on May 27 and 28, 2026. This year, we are exploring the relationship between sleep, physical health, and chronic diseases.

The Summer School is intended for students, researchers, and professionals in the fields of physical health, neuroscience, medicine, psychology, and sleep research.

NEW! Diploma of specialized graduate studies in Specialized Sleep Interventions

Unique training in Canada to meet a significant need for the population

The Department of Psychology at the Université de Montréal is proud to offer the very first graduate university training dedicated to the specialized intervention in sleep!

An integrated clinical approach

This specialized training allows the development of clinical skills through three internships conducted within the future University Sleep Clinic of the Université de Montréal, which will be open to the public during the spring of 2026. These internships will allow students to experiment concretely with screening, evaluation and sleep intervention with a diversity of clients, from infants to elderly.

Who is this program for?

• professionals in health and social services wishing to expand their field of competence to better support their clients in terms of sleep;

• to people with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, psychoeducation, social work, nursing, occupational therapy, kinesiology, physiotherapy, or a training deemed equivalent, wishing to acquire practical and applied training in sleep health.
