2025 Sleep Research Dissemination Awards

The Consortium is launching a competition for three research dissemination awards. These awards will support trainees supervised by members of the Consortium research teams to present their research at a sleep conference in 2025.

One award of $1,500 will be allocated for each research team – 1) Insomnia & Mental Health, 2) Sleep Across the Lifespan, and 3) Sleep Health Equity.

The Consortium Lab Exchange Program aims to facilitate training partnerships between Consortium members and partners, with a focus on skills development and technology transfer.

Intersectoral Research Scholarship

This scholarship aims to develop cooperation between trainees of the Consortium and the non-academic sector. Grants will be awarded to support joint sleep research projects combining different sectors with mutual benefits, research dissemination and public outreach initiatives. This program offers academic researchers and students the opportunity to work with the private sector/industrial partners, public sector/government, or non-profit organizations.

 

Dissemination Awards

The 2023 Consortium Dissemination Awards Program was very competitive! We would like to extend our appreciation to all applicants and to our four reviewers: Andrée-Ann Baril, Matt Orr, Meggan Porteous and Michel Bertrand. The winners were announced at the annual meeting with the certificates presented at the closing ceremony of the Canadian Sleep Society conference on Saturday, April 29th. A $1,500.00 prize was awarded to each research team.
