Dr. Sheila Garland, PhD, is a registered clinical psychologist and Associate Professor at Memorial University. Her clinical practice and research program bridges the areas of psychology, oncology, and sleep medicine. She investigates the influence that poor sleep has on cancer recovery and the effectiveness of interventions to improve sleep and other symptoms in cancer survivors. She is excited to be part of the BNBD team in order to increase access to evidence-based information and treatment for sleep problems for all Canadians.
